Our Story
Moving to a new country teaches you a hundred small things nobody thinks to tell you in advance. What weight of jacket actually holds up in a Canadian January. Nobody hands you a manual — you just figure it out, one cold surprise at a time.
Mukuta & Co. started as an answer to that gap. We're a Canadian online store built for the moments when you're setting up a new home, a new season's wardrobe, or a new baby's nursery, and you'd rather be told what you need than guess. We curate clothing, home decor, and toys and games — with baby and new-parent essentials on the way — and we pair every collection with plain-language guides so you're never shopping blind.
What We Believe
We believe that settling into a new place shouldn't mean learning everything the hard way. Whether you've just landed in Canada, you're a few years in and still filling in the gaps, or you're simply someone who appreciates a store that explains its choices instead of burying you in options, Mukuta & Co. is built for you. We're not trying to be everything to everyone — we're trying to be the one place that makes the everyday parts of Canadian life a little easier to figure out.
What We Offer
Every product in our store is chosen with a purpose: seasonal clothing capsules that take the guesswork out of dressing for a Canadian winter or spring, home essentials sized and suited to Canadian kitchens and homes, toys and games that meet Canadian safety standards, and — coming soon — baby and new-parent products, including car seats we only source from suppliers who can prove they meet Transport Canada's safety requirements.
